Navigating the Future: Highlights from the CAV Tech Forum
The CAV Tech Forum, held on August 20 at the Charles K Kao Auditorium, was a resounding success, drawing over 300 participants both offline and online. The forum brought together a tapestry of perspectives from government, industry, academia, and research sectors, sparking inspiration and sharing invaluable insights.
The discussions delved into pivotal themes shaping our future: from the development of EV charging and energy infrastructure to the developing a sustainable model of integration of AI in public transport. The forum also explored the possibilities and applications of incorporating autonomous buses in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Tokyo, and unlocked the potential through combining smart mobility research and commercialization.
